Our recipes are developed by veterinarians and nutritionists , following the guidelines of FEDIAF (European Federation of the Pet Food Industry).

Each recipe details its benefits and you can choose from different flavors the one that best suits your pet.

Where do the products come from?

We manufacture and cook all our products in Spain . Our ingredients come primarily from selected suppliers in Spain and various European countries, such as the Nordic countries in the case of salmon.

Does it contain preservatives?

We NEVER use preservatives. We pasteurize our recipes so they are preserved naturally, without the need for artificial additives .

Can I find grain-free recipes?

Yes, our diet is tailored to your pet. At Food for Joe, we offer both grain-based and grain-free recipes.

Are the recipes suitable for a pet with health conditions?

Thanks to our cooking method, you can keep them for up to 60 days in the refrigerator and until the expiration date in the freezer.

Can I combine Food for Joe with another diet?

Yes, you can combine Food for Joe with your pet's regular diet.

Are there any recipes for neutered cats?

Yes, our recipes are adapted for neutered cats.

Are there any recipes for puppies?

Our recipes are complete and adapted for puppies from 2 months old.

How are Food for Joe recipes stored?

If they are sealed, you can store them in the freezer (-18 ºC) until the expiry date shown on the packaging.

You can also keep them in the fridge (between 1°C and 4°C) for up to 60 days.

Once opened , store the package in the refrigerator and consume within 4 days. Do not refreeze.

To defrost: simply remove the package from the freezer and place it in the refrigerator until completely defrosted.

What's the difference with homemade food?

All our recipes have been developed by an expert veterinary nutritionist, ensuring that they meet the nutritional requirements recommended by FEDIAF.

Do I need to transition to the new diet?

Yes, whatever your pet's previous diet was, we recommend making the transition to Food for Joe gradually, increasing the amounts as your furry friend accepts it well.

About my order

What happens if my order arrives thawed?

Food For Joe orders leave our frozen warehouses and are transported in insulated boxes that guarantee that the cold chain of the food is not broken.

We do everything possible to ensure that deliveries are made during the morning hours , thus preventing the temperature from dropping too low.

However, if for any reason your order does not arrive completely frozen, we inform you of the possible preservation methods:

  • If the bags are frozen or have only thawed at the edges: store them in the freezer (-18°C) until the expiry date shown.
  • If the bags are cold but have lost their frozen rigidity: keep the order in the refrigerator (between 1°C and 4°C) for up to 60 days.
  • If the order arrives frozen but you prefer to keep it in the fridge for convenience, you can also do so (between 1ºC and 4ºC) for up to 60 days.
  • If your order arrived cold and thawed, do not refreeze it ; in this case, it must be kept in the refrigerator as indicated.

If your order arrived thawed, please send us a video via WhatsApp so we can resolve the issue as soon as possible.

In the event that the order arrives thawed for reasons beyond Food For Joe's control — such as delivery delays by the customer, absence at the time of delivery, incorrect address, or improper storage by the customer — the company will not be held responsible, as the delivery conditions have been expressly communicated.

What happens if I ultimately decide I don't want the order?

We deliver to any point on the entire island of Mallorca, Menorca and Ibiza

What are the shipping costs?

Shipping costs are €15 for orders under €75.
*Please note that the minimum order for natural food products is €30.

Which delivery company do you work with?

We have our own delivery service and, in some cases, we collaborate with other transport companies.

What are the delivery days and times?

We will deliver your order Monday through Friday, date to be determined.
We do our best to ensure delivery is made during morning hours; however, occasionally, delivery may be made throughout the day on the scheduled date.
